Job Description

Trust Relations is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will be working as a remote Freelancer (1099 contractor), have substantial experience executing innovative publicity campaigns in the B2B technology and consumer lifestyle space (including consumer brands, fashion, luxury, travel, food, home, etc.), as well as be passionate and enthusiastic about our industry.  Account work may also include content strategy, creation and distribution, as well as data-driven reporting & analysis. This is a great opportunity for someone with entry-level experience, looking to grow their career and take on more responsibility in a PR / marketing role.

You’ll easily navigate responsibilities on multiple clients with great success, and show consistent performance across a variety of accounts with an ability to take fluctuations in workload with ease. You learn quickly, rarely make the same mistakes twice, and consistently instill confidence in senior team members.

Duties include:

  • Work across multiple B2B/tech, consumer and lifestyle accounts to consistently produce results within our core services of media relations
  • Actively participate and contribute to client calls, when needed
  • Develop and foster an exceptional rapport with current and potential clients

  • Communicating – both verbally and written – regarding strategic client documents and discussions
  • Respond to client requests and ensure requests are taken care of in an efficient manner
  • Assist where needed in writing press releases, pitch letters, and communication plans
  • Executing all aspects of strategic media relations; leveraging existing relationships with reporters and outlets on behalf of client and agency
  • Building new media relationships; proactively engaging media on a regular basis
  • Securing and staffing interviews; developing savvy and timely ideas and moving pitches from “concept to coverage”
  • Perform both ongoing and ad-hoc projects as necessary
