Responsibilities:

The Job At-A- Glance:

 

Reporting to the National Director of Training and Hospitality the National Training Specialist at Campus Life & Style will be responsible for facilitating and monitoring various training facets for the company including new hire training, employee development programs, annual marketing & leasing training, systems training, and more. 

 

Additionally, this person will create content and train / monitor on-site teams on company operational standards in the areas relating to marketing, facilities, operations, leasing, accounting, and more.  This position requires attention to detail, initiative, resourcefulness, and follow through.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct training via webinar, conference call, or physical presentation to educate field on all aspects of our business - operations, accounting, marketing, leasing, and hospitality responsibilities and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to create and deploy specialized training based on employee roles and responsibilities.  
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining compliance with all policy and laws relating to the company’s operations. This includes Fair Housing compliance, workplace harassment training, and more. 
  • Assist in establishing standards for the company’s property management software and help create training modules on how to use the software.  
  • Help with preparation, managing and improving employee development programs.  Both EXCELeration, which identifies talented individuals and assists in preparing them for future roles in the company, and Mentorship which welcomes new key talent and pairs them with veteran members of the company. 
  • Monitor and keep history of all secret shop results and assist in recommending training for each Leasing Professional to the Regional Directors if needed. 
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

  • A Bachelor degree; or 1 years’ experience in the student/multi-family housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and Property Management software (Entrata)
  • Experience with training tutorial software
  • Travel will be required 90%
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • An entrepreneurial mindset-you're creative and will challenge the status quo to meet the needs of our residents and our company
  • Can-do attitude with a passion for training others 
  • Customer service oriented 
  • Student housing experience preferred
