Rite Aid employs more than 6,300 pharmacists and operates more than 2,300 retail pharmacy locations across 17 states.
The primary purpose of this position is to develop and maintain a revenue system of reporting and analysis that measures and monitors the Company's cash receipts of Third-Party Insurance claims (70% ($9 Billion) of the Company's revenue). This ensures the Company's cash collections and accounts receivable aging are appropriate and timely, thereby reducing the company's bad debt expense and increased cash flow.
Oversee and support the daily operations of all revenue cycle cycle management functions. Specifically, a) Payer latency, non-payments, and short payments. B) Identification of Third-Party System process issues.
Manage key reporting and analysis activities which support the company's overall strategic goal of reducing the company's expenses, specifically bad debt expense. This will include monitoring of accounts receivable aging reports, days sales outstanding, Company's bad debt waterfall schedules, and borrowing base analysis for the Company’s secured debt.
Provide executive reporting on key Healthcare revenue metrics and key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure awareness of the company’s liquidity status.
Identifies areas for improvements and drives change initiatives to improve overall Revenue Cycle Management operations and financial outcomes
