Our client in the medical device industry is seeking a remote
Marketo Specialist proficient in email design and HTML coding. This role will focus on managing email requests, building emails in Marketo and Litmus, testing them, and ensuring professional and timely email communications. You will collaborate closely with the Marketo project manager and team to implement changes, and edits, and troubleshoot advanced technical challenges as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver high-quality email communications.
- Understand email requirements, best practices, and identify development issues.
- Build and implement email programs within ESP (Email Service Provider) tools.
- Develop responsive, mobile- and dark-mode-friendly email templates optimized for web and mobile and all devices.
- Use advanced HTML and CSS to develop/edit responsive email templates and landing pages.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, incorporating media queries and conditional formatting.
- Build landing pages from PSD and Figma files.
- Conduct QA processes to ensure email rendering and consistency across various clients and systems.
- Update and maintain email templates in adherence to brand guidelines.
- Implement A/B testing to optimize email performance.
- Troubleshoot email issues and collaborate with ESP representatives and stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive research to identify best coding practices for email programs and landing pages.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- Must have 2-3 years of Marketo experience. Should have email platform experience with tools such as Litmus or Knak.
- Must have Advanced Frontend HTML and CSS experience coding emails.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with ESP service representative and internal stakeholders related to tracking, implementation, and deployment of campaigns.
- Conduct competitive research and identify best practices for coding architecture, user experiences for email programs and landing page designs.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience building emails and Landing pages.
- Has a quick intelligence, is fast on their feet and quickly responds to issues and questions.
- Can organize, summarize, clarify, and communicate ideas simply, succinctly, and accurately to technical and non-technical audiences and leadership levels.
- Capable of maintaining a rapid pace, moves at a nice clip and enjoys having multiple projects going at once. Can change course, be scrappy and get things done on short timeframes.
- Experience using Dreamweaver or similar code editing program.
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma, to take designs from Photoshop and build into responsive email.
- Basic image editing skills to crop, optimize and modify assets for email and web.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
