Project description

The Sebenta National Institute in Eswatini has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Curriculum Development Specialist. Sebenta has a curriculum section which plan and provide training and learning resources for the basic literacy, non-formal primary education (for out of school children), and skills development programmes. A need for additional support to strengthen the capacity of the academic staff as well as improve the curriculum and educational material has been identified.

The PCRV will co-develop relevant training and learning materials to enhance the impact of training delivery and review and provide recommendations on the existing educational curricula. The PCRV will also conduct needs assessment for courses offered and co-facilitate in courses, conferences and workshops.

Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Eswatini together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
