Your missions

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Senior Odoo Developer to join our ERP consulting firm. As a Senior Odoo Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying Odoo ERP solutions tailored to client needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical discussions, and provide expertise in Odoo architecture and development. Your ability to analyze requirements, implement customizations, and optimize performance will be key to driving project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in Odoo development.
  • Expertise in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience with Odoo's core modules (CRM, Sales, Accounting, Inventory, MRP, etc.) from Odoo 16 or newer versions.
  • Experience with web services and integrations (REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, MessageQueue, SQL, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Odoo architecture, ORM, APIs, best practices of development and relevant business processes.
  • Learning Agility: Ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, or programming languages as required.
  • Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication skills in English for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.

- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to gather requirements and present technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Odoo ERP Development:

- Architect, design, estimate, develop, and maintain Odoo customizations and modules follows business requirements.

- Perform FIT/GAP analysis of configurations using Odoo out-of-the-box against business requirements.

- Propose solutions, approaches to business problems, workflows, reports to be customized using Odoo.

- Collaborate on deployment and system configuration.

  • Collaboration & Support:

- Lead the technical aspects of Odoo projects, providing guidance to junior developers.

- Collaborate with consultants, and project managers to gather and understand business requirements.

- Participate in architecture design and code reviews to ensure code quality.

- Assist in troubleshooting and fixing bugs in Odoo modules and installations.

- Provide technical support to clients post-deployment.

  • Integration & Migration:

- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications (REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, MessageQueue, SQL, etc.).

- Ensure seamless data exchange between Odoo and external systems.

- Support data migration tasks, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

  • Performance Optimization:

- Assess, identify and troubleshoot performance issues in Odoo application.

- Optimize code and queries for enhanced performance and scalability.

  • Testing & Documentation:

- Write unit tests and participate in QA processes to ensure software quality.

- Prepare technical documentation for internal use and client delivery.

- Stay up to date with the latest Odoo versions and recommend upgrades when necessary.
