  • Full-time availability of 37.5 – 40 hours weekly is required to be eligible for this opportunity.

Summary/About The Opportunity

We are looking for an intern to assist as a Problem Manager/Analyst. The primary responsibility is to assist the Problem Manager and help conduct the investigation of root cause for major incidents using 5-whys principles. As part of these efforts, you will work with the Problem Manager and teams to perform detailed root cause analysis, drive and track prevention action items, and provide weekly summaries and status updates. Collaborating with the Manager of Problem Management, this person will partner within our Cloud and engineering teams and identify areas of opportunity to improve the quality of product and service by applying preventative measures. This person will also partner with our Product & Technology (P&T) and Global Incident Management teams to help increase problem tracking and root cause analysis across all regions and products we support.

Primary Responsibilities/ What You’ll Get To Do

  • Learn the overview of the Problem Management processes, attend post-incident review meetings, assist with documenting the notes, and capture and creation of action items.
  • Perform follow-ups on overdue action items to receive updates and document in our problem management tool.
  • Assist with building or updating reports for tracking, trending etc.
