Networking Engineer (Juniper SD-WAN / Cradlepoint / VeloCloud)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Networking Engineer with specialized expertise in Juniper SD-WAN, Cradlepoint, and VeloCloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) across various enterprise environments. This role requires strong technical skills in network architecture, troubleshooting, and the integration of SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation:
• Plan, design, and implement SD-WAN solutions using Juniper, Cradlepoint, and VeloCloud technologies.
• Develop network architectures that align with business objectives and scalability requirements.
• Configure and deploy SD-WAN hardware and software in complex multi-site environments.
  
• Network Management:
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network traffic flow.
• Manage WAN optimization, security protocols, and failover mechanisms to ensure high availability and performance.
• Maintain and update SD-WAN configurations, ensuring compliance with security and operational policies.
  
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for SD-WAN, LAN, and WAN-related issues.
• Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex network problems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring network issues and implement long-term solutions.
  
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, systems, and infrastructure, to integrate SD-WAN solutions.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation, including design diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
  
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SD-WAN technologies, especially Juniper, Cradlepoint, and VeloCloud.
• Suggest and implement network improvements, enhancements, and innovations to increase overall efficiency and reliability.
  
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience working with Juniper SD-WAN, Cradlepoint, and VeloCloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of WAN/LAN architectures, IP routing, switching, and network security protocols.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and SD-WAN management platforms.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex network issues and providing performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., JNCIS, Cradlepoint Certified, VeloCloud Certified Professional) are a plus.
