We are seeking an experienced Collaboration Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. What You’ll Get To Do
- The Collaboration Systems Engineer will be accountable for the daily administration and support for our enterprise messaging, productivity, and collaboration apps, tools, and related integrations at Dayforce
- Respond to support incidents to investigate, analyze, document, and deliver a root cause and resolution for issues related to our services
- Develop and document best practices, guidelines, training content, and support knowledge articles for our products and services
- Ability to read, write, and interpret complex technical documentation and articulate information to all levels, verbally and in writing
- Assist in defining and managing standards and policies around the lifecycle of M365 solutions, including (but not limited to) groups, teams, communities, apps, and workflows from creation to retirement
- Attend regular vendor meetings, stay informed of latest technology roadmaps, security notifications, and bug/hot fixes
- Ensure vendors provide proper levels of support, maintains SLA’s, and provide root cause analysis for escalated issues
- Contribute to our product roadmaps, always keeping the future state of those solutions in mind
- Contribute to the creation, configuration, and maintenance of M365 monitoring and reporting capabilities
- Work closely with the Sr. Solution Architect, Sr. Systems Engineers, and IT Cybersecurity team on prioritizing the safety of customer data, as well as Dayforce internal employees, systems, and content
- Contribute to the strategy, adoption, and training of our employees, ensuring employees are gaining as much value from our technology investments as possible
- Function as a Technical Lead on projects involving or affecting our apps and services
- Attend and contributes to team meetings
- Complete all administrative tasks, i.e., (time tracking, project and task updates, trouble ticket notes, status reports, responding to email, etc.) accurately and on time
- Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet Dayforce goals and objectives
Skills And Experience We Value
- The successful candidate requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology OR 5+ years of experience in deploying and managing productivity and collaboration solutions
- 2+ years experience in system administration and engineering for productivity and collaboration tools in a global corporate environment (5K+ employees), including (but not limited to) Microsoft 365 solutions:Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Viva and Office suites
- Requirement & Solution Development: Experience working with various business stakeholder to identify and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems through IT solutions
- Self-Driven: Ability and comfort with working in an objective-based, self-driven environment
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build relationships with IT and business departments and partners in medium to large enterprise companies
- Collaboration & Communication: Proven track record of working in a global organization with remote employees using virtual collaboration and communication tools to achieve objectives, resolve issues, and staying connected
- Strong knowledge/experience with, security, compliance, and legal capabilities and configurations around technical solutions
- Strong experience with cloud computing technologies, process automation, emerging computing trends and deployment approaches
What Would Make You Really Stand Out
- Experience or understanding of AI technology such has chatbots, virtual assistance, LLMs and generative AI solutions
- Experience with automation solutions such as Power Automate and scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Understanding and experience ITIL processes, especially ServiceNow ITSM solutions
- Experience with configuring and deploying content management and external sharing solutions, as well as security and data loss prevention capabilities and solutions
- Regulated finance or banking industry experience a plus
