About the Role

As the Director of Value Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving Eightfold AI's revenue growth by establishing and leading a world-class value management function. Your primary objective will be to partner with our sales team to develop compelling business cases that quantify the financial and operational impact of Eightfold's solutions for our customers and prospects. You will build this function from the ground up, defining processes, methodologies, and tools, while hiring, training, and mentoring a team of value management consultants.


Responsibilities

  • Establish the Function: Define the vision, strategy, and operational framework for the value management function, including processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Develop Business Cases: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, gather data, and build robust business models that quantify the financial and operational impact of Eightfold's solutions.
  • Present to Customers: Articulate complex business cases in a clear and concise manner to senior executives, including economic buyers, showcasing the tangible ROI of Eightfold's offerings.
  • Enable Sales: Equip the sales team with the tools, knowledge, and resources to effectively communicate Eightfold’s value proposition to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, customer success, and product, to align on customer value propositions and enhance Eightfold's go-to-market strategy.
  • Lead the Team: Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing team of value management consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Establish scalable frameworks and best practices for value management that can be consistently applied across the organization.


Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: you have 8-10 years of work experience and a successful track record in value management/value consulting within a SaaS environment, ideally coupled with experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
  • Hands-On Approach: you are willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work, building business models, leaning in, and leading by example.
  • Analytical Prowess: you have demonstrated ability to build complex business models that accurately reflect customer needs and the impact of a SaaS solution.
  • Exceptional Communication: you have outstanding communication and presentation skills; you are capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership Acumen: you are a self-starter with the initiative to build a function from the ground up and the ability to inspire and lead a team.


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience in HR technology or talent intelligence
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

*Please note this role is open to all US locations and categorized as remote or hybrid depending on location. The base salary range below is provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonuses and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.


Base Salary Range: $195,000 to $240,000
