SAIC is seeking a qualified Business Analyst to provide PMO Support for a client within the Veterans Affairs (VA).
Job Description/Responsibilities
Formulate and define program and system scope and objectives based on both user needs and broad understanding of information technology, business processes, and VA industry requirements
Demonstrate prior experience and capability using Agile Methodologies
Lead, facilitate and understand technical product discussions
Provide recommendations and engage in discussion
Identify any gaps of information and engage stakeholders and SME’s to ensure those gaps are filled
Capture and summarize information in meetings (key insights, action items) and follow up on action items
Develop presentations and workflow diagrams to help customers and stakeholders are aligned with product needs
Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals or groups
Updates of current status of projects/products to include upcoming milestones, completed milestones, risks, and stakeholder engagements
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
Qualifications
Required Experience and Education
Bachelor’s and 5 years experience
Desired Skills
Experience with product management
Experience with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira, GitHub or ServiceNow
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Analytical skills and ability to functionally contribute to technical product discussions
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
Veterans Affairs experience desired
Ability to obtain a VA clearance and background, Citizenship required
Target salary range $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
