Job Description

The 401(k) PEP Implementation Specialist acts as a liaison between the 401k provider, isolved and clients handling the onboarding, implementation, and ongoing day to day activities on the plan. Ensures the implementation process is handled effectively, timely and accurately.

Partner with and provide exceptional customer service to our customers who are part of our 401(k) Pooled Employer Plan. This position requires diligent effort, acting as the liaison between the 401(k) provider and the clients to resolve 401(k) implementation related issues.

This includes ensuring all client requests are handled effectively, timely and accurately. This position is responsible for handling implementation and administration for the adopters under our plan. This member must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and complete deadlines in addition to displaying good time management.

Core Job Duties

  • Partner with and provide exceptional customer service to our customers who are part of our 401(k) Pooled Employer Plan
  • Act as the liaison between the 401(k) provider and the clients to resolve 401(k) related issues
  • Ensure all client requests are handled effectively, timely and accurately
  • Handle day-to-day retirement plan administration for the adopters under our plan; this member must be able to manage and prioritize tasks and competing deadlines in addition to displaying good time management
  • Timely deposit of contribution files
  • Build Census Files
  • Handle on boarding and off boarding of clients supporting the team of advisors on the plan
  • Set up contributions in the payroll system related to plan start / set up
  • Double check plan documents before submitting to installation
  • Provide customer support answering questions from Employees and Employer
  • Validate benefit plan configuration accuracy and alignment with provider specifications and partner with internal benefits team and implementation teams on plan builds, updates, and related questions when necessary
  • Manage customer escalated issues and drive resolutions
  • Ensure deadlines are met for new client implementations
  • Properly escalate issues to management
  • Collaborate with peers to establish best practices
  • Attend and participate in all relevant meetings
  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ year of experience in customer service
  • 3+ years in the retirement industry preferred
  • Experience with isolved preferred
  • Technology savvy with ability to quickly learn new tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office package; intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong time management
