Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications, we are looking for an experienced and skilled SAP S/4 HANA data migration lead to join our team who will be responsible for leading and delivering data migration activities for our upcoming S/4 HANA projects. The data migration lead should have in-depth knowledge of SAP modules that support order to cash and finance processes, migration objects and associated data migration tools across greenfield, brownfield or SDT migrations. The lead will define the data migration strategy, architecture, conversion test cycles, collaborate with cross-functional teams, data analysts, developers, implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data migration processes, ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations relevant to the organization
How you will make an impact:
- Lead end-to-end data migration activities from varied sources including sap on-prem & cloud applications, non-sap and legacy/AS/400 systems to SAP S/4 HANA platforms with expected accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Lead data profiling strategy, data quality and data governance strategy for the S/4 HANA landscape.
- Lead design and implementation of data mappings, transformations, and validation processes using sap and third-party data migration toolset such as SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services) and Information Steward, SAP HANA Smart Data Integration, SAP HANA studio, SAP ADP, LTMC.
- Lead landscape and instance strategy, sizing strategy for the various data migration tools including S/4 HANA migration cockpit and related ETL tools.
- Develop and maintain project schedule, delivery timelines, resource allocations, take full ownership and provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and risks to ensure successful data migration delivery.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, maintaining data quality and governance standards, communicate with stakeholders, and address concerns.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Hands-On experience using BODS designer, managing job server, data service repository, data processing engine, access server, administrator and define complex transformations, data mappings
- Proven experience leading E2E SAP data migration projects, with in-depth knowledge of SAP modules and associated data migration tools such as SAP BODS across greenfield, brownfield or SDT migrations.
- Hands-On experience in S/4 HANA migration cockpit, data migration approaches including staging tables, direct transfer, migration object modeler, migration, and translation objects.
- Good knowledge of S/4 HANA data model, CDS views, mass data update and large-scale data movements.
- Experience in data quality assurance and governance practices across master and transactional data.
- Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations as well as experienced in data masking and data scrambling in data migration
- Certifications in SAP modules or data migration tools is a definite plus.
- Good knowledge of SAP order to cash, finance processes and associated master and transaction data.
