We are looking for an infrastructure focused and action oriented leader to continue our rapid growth by managing and growing a motivated, collaborative team of top-notch talent.
The Director of Capacity Forecasting will be responsible to produce long term projections for network capacity within and between our data centers globally. A successful leader in this role will develop strong partnerships with Demand Planning, Hardware Planning, Network Capacity Execution, and Connectivity Planning to ensure the Capacity projection is aligned with the business outlook. This role will report to the Sr Director of Infrastructure Growth Management within the OCI Infrastructure Capacity organization, and will be responsible for:
- Producing 12 - 18 month+ network forecasts for: Network fabrics, FastConnect, Backbone, Metro, and Internet capacity
- Leverage data science team to run scenario, impact and risk analysis
- Maintain cadence with all stakeholders to ensure planning accuracy
- Ensure long term plan and inventory strategy is integrated with data center capacity planning
- Automating and improving the capacity planning process and methodology
- Lead team of 3-4 strategic planners
Qualifications
- 7-10 years in cloud/hyperscale networking or data center capacity planning
- 7-10 years experience leading high functioning teams
- Ability to communicate information to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to tight deadlines and often shifting priorities
- Ability to work cross functionally with sourcing, Supply Chain, Delivery, Network Capacity, Networking and Connectivity teams, and gain buy in to achieve a common goal

US: Hiring Range: from $139,300 - $291,900 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
