Logistics Analyst

Job Summary:

The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for supporting supply chain processes, analyzing data, and ensuring the efficient flow of products from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Conduct data analysis and research to optimize supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously review and improve supply chain processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

 

Inventory & Demand Management

  • Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
  • Utilize analytical tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Monitor and track key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs.

 

Compliance & Auditing

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with supply chain policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company safety and compliance standards.

 

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues, proactively communicating updates to stakeholders.

 

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate supply chain performance and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the development of supply chain budgets and forecasts.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance overall company performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in logistics or transportation, with experience in scheduling, delivery coordination, and warehouse inventory management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
    • Proficiency in tracking, tracing, and monitoring shipments.
    • Familiarity with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations.
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Adaptability and self-motivation.


Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
