Your missions

At Azure, we’re building a culture based on learning. We want to know what our customers want and what’s going to make their work and lives better. Innovation only happens when we really understand our customers. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a UX researcher who’s driven by empathy for customers, and the need to know how to serve them better. And we need you right now, because we’re building one of the fastest-growing, highest-impact technologies in the world today.

The Azure Cloud Experiences Studio is seeking a motivated, creative UX researcher who’s passionate about understanding customers, analyzing data, and excited about the cloud. As a part of a multidisciplinary studio, you’ll be working on delivering the next generation of experiences for Microsoft Azure.  You will have opportunities to leverage a broad array of qualitative and quantitative research methods. As your product team creates new features, you’ll help them make decisions based on data and user perspectives. You bring your skills to your fellow collaborators with optimism, curiosity, and an open mind. We are working toward the vision of Azure as the World’s Computer, and we need your help.

In our team, we believe in the power of inclusion, diversity of ideas, work / life balance, and the joy of solving challenging problems. We help large enterprises use Azure however and wherever they need it: in the cloud, on the edge, all at huge scale. We strive for a collaborative culture where everyone can flourish and innovate, including in our own approaches to the ever-changing global climate and flexible work. Join us, and you’ll be a part of a passionate community of UX professionals, working on one of the most exciting and fastest growing products in the world.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • You will innovate on new methods and practices that contribute to the UX community within the Azure and Microsoft.
  • You will work in an agile development process and juggle multiple deliverables.
  • You’ll need to be detail-oriented and thorough in your approach to research methodology, but flexible enough to work within time and product constraints.
