Job Description

The Manufacturing Sales Rep Agency Liaison is a critical role responsible for onboarding and supporting new manufacturing sales rep agencies. This individual will act as a conductor and primary point of contact, ensuring that these agencies are fully integrated into the company’s ecosystem. The Liaison will manage the onboarding process, which includes product training, digital tool setup, and training, as well as providing comprehensive company background and history. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the Masterbrand network and systems, and the ability to connect agencies with the right company resources to ensure their success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Management:
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive onboarding plan for new sales rep agencies.
    • Coordinate product training sessions, ensuring agencies have a thorough understanding of the product portfolio.
    • Oversee the setup and training on digital tools, including CRM systems, sales platforms, and other relevant technologies.
    • Provide some training on the company’s background, history, values, and culture to align agencies with the company’s mission.
  • Ongoing Support:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales rep agencies, providing ongoing support and guidance.
    • Act as a connector, ensuring agencies are put in touch with the appropriate internal resources (e.g., product managers, marketing teams, technical support) as needed.
    • Troubleshoot issues that arise during the onboarding process or after, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Coordination & Communication:
    • Maintain regular communication with sales rep agencies to monitor progress and address any concerns.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and information flow.
    • Develop and distribute onboarding materials, guides, and other resources to support agency success.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and report on the progress of each agency’s onboarding, providing regular updates to senior management.
    • Gather feedback from agencies and internal teams to continuously improve the onboarding process.

 

Qualifications
  • Relevant Industry Experience: At least 3-5 years in a manufacturing or sales environment, preferably in a role involving direct interaction with sales representatives or agencies.
  • Sales Support Experience: Experience in supporting sales teams, managing sales pipelines, or coordinating between sales and manufacturing operations.
  • Project Management: Experience managing projects or processes, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders.

Education/Certificates:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Certifications (Optional): Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Sales Professional (CSP), or similar certifications may be beneficial.

Skills:

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze challenges and develop solutions that align with company goals.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external sales agencies.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related technology tools.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with sales agencies to align their objectives with the company’s goals.
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
