On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Project Manager to work on the Digital Enablement project which aims to enhance service delivery and streamline efficiency within the patients by digitizing Medical Imaging requisition and the associated processes.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and roadmaps, considering budget, schedule, milestones, and risk factors.
• Develop and maintain project management tools and approaches, such as work-breakdown structure and team stand up meetings
• Plan, manage, and monitor project budget and financial reporting.
• Communicate and collaborate with Project Team Members and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Provide timely support to project-related queries.
• Facilitate effective communication across the provincial health sector.
• Develop briefing notes for information, discussion, and decision.
Project Team Development and Management:
• Participate in project resource recruitment activities.
• Work with the project team to co-create a team agreement/charter with a team vision, shared values, and shared expectations related to team norms, communications, proactive conflict management, etc.
• Plan and deliver team-building activities to develop a high-performing team.
• Assign work assignments/activities to project team members.
Status Reporting and Dashboard Maintenance:
• Regularly update project and program status reports and maintain a project dashboard.
• Develop executive-level project update summaries
• Provide visibility into project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators.
Project Documentation:
• Develop and update project charters, business cases, and evaluation plans.
• Document findings, recommendations, decisions, and change requirements.
• Maintain CRAID log.
Business Analysis:
• Support business analysis activities, including requirements gathering
Change Management:
• Identify and manage organizational change requirements and activities related to the project.
• Support change management planning.
• Work closely with the Provincial Medical Imaging Office to ensure provincial clinical standardization of the Project.
Scope Management:
• Manage project scope change processes and obtain necessary approvals.
• Ensure alignment with project objectives.
Performance Tracking:
• Monitor Project Team performance in executing project tasks.
• Control, track, and report on day-to-day aspects of the project.
Financial Oversight:
• Control, track, and report on project financials (budgeted, planned, and spent).
• Forecast resource usage and manage financial constraints.
Risk and Issue Management:
• Identify, track, and report on project risks and issues.
• Conduct risk management to address, avoid, or mitigate risks.
• Escalate issues as needed.
Deliverable Acceptance:
• Secure acceptance and approval of project deliverables from the Sponsor and Stakeholders.
Meeting Facilitation:
• Schedule and chair Project Team meetings.
• Foster collaboration, consensus, and decision-making.
• Document meeting minutes and actions.
Transition to Deployment:
• Ensure a smooth transition of project deliverables to the Deployment team
Reporting and Compliance:
• Submit regular status reports to the PMO, Program Management, and Program Steering Committee.
• Adhere to project management processes as per PMO standards.
• Support portfolio reporting as needed
Additional Duties:
• Perform other related duties as assigned
