Job description

Mission

The mission of the Training Expert role is to empower and elevate our team sby providing comprehensive, innovative, and results-driven

training solutions. The Training Expert will play a key role in ensuring that our team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and

tools necessary to excel in their roles and contribute effectively to the achievement of the company's strategic objectives, with focus on

Marketing programs.

By aligning training initiatives with the company's goals, staying abreast of industry best practices, and fostering a dynamic learning

environment, the Training Expert will contribute to our team's continuous growth and success. The mission encompasses not only the

delivery of impactful training but also the proactive identification of training needs and collaboration with key stakeholders to address those

needs, ultimately optimizing the performance and impact of our contributors.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Align Training with Company Objectives:

Stay abreast of the company's quarterly, semi-annual, and annual objectives to design and implement effective training solutions

across a spectrum of different topics, but with 50% of dedication to Marketing initiatives.

2. Content Development:

Excel in creating dynamic content for live and virtual training sessions, including curated readings, videos, and other multimedia

materials, ensuring a diverse and engaging learning experience. Own the design, development, and maintenance of the training

platforms.

3. Conduct Training Sessions:

Conduct both large-scale and personalized training sessions, demonstrating adaptability to diverse audience needs and fostering an

environment conducive to active learning.

4. Technical Proficiency:

Possess a deep understanding of marketing concepts and the ability to effectively convey technical information, ensuring participants

comprehend and apply key principles.

5. Progress Monitoring:

Establish and implement progress monitoring processes for training participants, identifying areas for knowledge reinforcement and

experimenting with alternative techniques to enhance knowledge assimilation.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare weekly and monthly training reports to track the progress of contributors, providing insights into the effectiveness of training

initiatives.

8. Collaboration and Needs Identification:

Proactively identify training needs and collaborate with the People Business Partner to address them, preventing performance

decline among contributors.


Initial Expected Outcomes

Initial 30 Days:

1. Orientation and Onboarding:

Familiarize with the company's mission, values, and current Trafilea Operational Framework strategies.

Meet with key stakeholders (project managers, process specialists, people business partners, talent acquisition specialists, etc) and

leadership, to understand their expectations.

2. Company Objectives Alignment:

Review the current quarterly objectives and understand how each team contributes to them.

Attend relevant marketing meetings and gather insights from teams to align training strategies with current business goals.

3. Content Familiarization:

Review existing training materials to understand the current content structure and identify areas for improvement.

Begin developing relationships with subject matter experts within the company for future collaboration.

Days 31-60:

4. Content Development Kickoff:

Start developing new training materials based on the identified gaps and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with marketing experts to gather insights and create content that aligns with industry best practices.

5. Technical Proficiency Assessment:

Evaluate the contributor's understanding of marketing concepts and identify any areas for development.

Engage in discussions with experienced marketing professionals to deepen technical knowledge.

6. Initial Training Sessions Planning:

Outline plans for the first set of training sessions, considering both large-scale and personalized formats.

Incorporate multimedia elements into the training content to enhance engagement.

Days 61-90:

7. Training Sessions Launch:

Initiate the first set of training sessions, ensuring adaptability to diverse audience needs.

Gather feedback from participants to make immediate adjustments and improvements.

8. Progress Monitoring Implementation:

Implement progress monitoring processes to assess participant learning and identify areas for improvement.

Experiment with alternative techniques to reinforce knowledge and enhance learning retention.

9. Reporting and Analysis Initiation:

Start preparing weekly reports on training progress and effectiveness.

Analyze initial results and identify trends or areas that require additional focus.

10. Continuous Learning Integration:

Stay informed on the latest adult learning methodologies and training best practices.

Begin incorporating innovative approaches into ongoing and future training programs.

11. Collaboration with People Business Partner:

Initiate regular collaboration with the People Business Partner to identify and address emerging training needs proactively.Implement strategies to prevent potential performance declines among marketing contributors.

By the end of the initial 90 days, the Training Expert should have successfully aligned training with company objectives, developed engaging

content, conducted effective training sessions, monitored progress, and established a foundation for ongoing collaboration and

improvement.


Role-related competencies & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

+7 years of proven experience as a trainer and content developer focusing on adult learning methodologies, preferably in multi-business

companies.

Strong proficiency in creating (hands-on) diverse training content, including live sessions, virtual trainings, and multimedia materials

(videos, infographics, etc)

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

A solid understanding of marketing concepts (customer acquisition, retention & growth concepts) and the ability to convey technical

information effectively will be highly valued for the role.

Previous experience as a Growth Marketer or Creative Strategist will be highly valued.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools

Demonstrated ability to adapt training approaches to different learning styles.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Proactive mindset in identifying and addressing training needs to optimize contributor performance.
