The Role

Our Docklands office is the hub for our corporate functions within the Bega Group. You’ll enjoy lots of natural light and great facilities to take advantage of including a fully stocked fridge loaded with a range of Bega products! We are right next door to Marvel stadium and some of Melbourne’s best restaurants, cafes and bars.

This Social Media Specialist role has a real impact on Bega Group’s approach to Social Media for brands such as Dare, Yoplait and Dairy farmers.  This is an exciting opportunity for a creative up and coming Social Media Specialist to play a key role in the development and execution of content and campaigns across key platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

This is a hybrid position allowing for a Work from Home and Docklands 3008 Vic office mix

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage content calendars and paid activity across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ideate and produce engaging content and identify opportunities to extend the reach of our well-known brands.

  • Ensure brand and customer experience consistency by collaborating with various teams.

  • Provide and share insights on social media performance and campaign trends with internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and manage end to end  influencer strategies, from outreach to onboarding

About you

  • Proven experience in social media, content marketing, or a related field.

  • Deep understanding of social media best practices and the ability to create engaging content that amplifies brand reach.

  • Strong skills in managing relationships and communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Ability to convey stories through trends and data.

  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Meltwater, Meta, Falcon, or Sprout Social.
