Majesco is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our talented, creative, and innovative team. Majesco supports a “Remote First” work environment that supports working remotely from your home in addition to our office locations in Mumbai and Pune.

All About the Role:

Ensure highest quality of the software through best practices in Automation testing that can provide delightful customer experience
Participates in the functional & business scenario walkthroughs
Creates Automated test scripts and provides execution reports
Assist Test manager with task allocation, monitoring and tracking of test activities
Analyzes new requirements, stories, scenarios, and rules to develop Automation test plans and Automated test suites
Ensure that Quality software is delivered as per the key Quality metrics like Automation Index, Defect Density, Story Point Velocity, Defect Inflow post adoption, Regression Backlog – that are defined for the product suite
Ensure On-Time test script creation, review, and execution of program features as per the Specifications
Enter all information in the defect tracking & test case management tools & create appropriate dashboards to ensure a clear visibility into the quality trends
Work in collaboration with Developers, Architects, BAs and Functional Test team to ensure Automation coverage and resolve issues
Report test execution in a manner which is easy to understand and actionable.

Expertise in JAVA
Expertise in BDD framework (Serenity, REST-Assured, SoapUI)
Expertise in API based Automation
Experience in testing REST & HTTP web services, JSON/XML, web apps and relational databases
Experience in Web Automation
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principals
Experience in Jenkins would be an advantage
Experience in Automation Framework Designing, Executing, and Maintaining Automated test suites.
Expertise in JAVA
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principals
Must have experience in API Testing
Expertise in Selenium Automation or any other framework would be an advantage.
