Job description

Actively looking to hire a Corporate Tax Accountant to join the team on a consulting basis! This is a Monday to Friday position with OT offered and compensated for! This is a remote role ! Candidates will not be starting until January 2025; but interviews are being set up soon! Apply today!

Description

  • Prepare federal corporate tax returns (C-corp returns)
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the state of quarterly tax journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with tax authority notices and/or audits as needed
  • Assists in the completion of relevant domestic tax filing obligations, filings related to government-required tax accounting disclosures
  • Assists in the gathering of data necessary for audits by governmental tax units, data used in the tax compliance process
  • Performs general research on tax issues
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Corptax, and SAP daily

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Federal Corporate Tax Return Filing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
  • Corptax software is required and SAP preferred
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Proficient in filing C-corp tax, state return compliance, and tax research.
  • CPA & Big 4 Experience Preferred
