Reporting to the Sales Director, this sign industry Business Development Manager jobs responsibilities include:
- Working with the internal sales & marketing manager to support the research & development of prospects
- Identifying key decision makers & influences of the buying process within target clients, e.g. brand owners, blue chip companies architects & designers, government & local authorities etc
- Developing client relationships that generate profitable business revenue streams
- Prospecting to clients that have been identified, including new & previous customers on the companies CRM system
- Following up & converting incoming inquires & leads generated by the internal sales & marketing department

So, to be considered for this signage sales job opportunity you'll need
Essential:
- Proven experience of success working in a sign industry sales job role, selling signage into to multiple site clients &/or high value one offs
- Possess a dynamic, self motivated & can do attitude
- Understanding & ability to follow a strategic sales process, capable of selling quality rather than the cheapest price
- Full UK driving license, willing & able to travel to client meetings throughout the UK
- Right to work in the UK.
Beneficial but not essential:
Experience of selling signage and wayfinding solution into the following markets would be beneficial but not essential
- Public sector
- Rail
- Airports
- Public realm
