Position: Senior Product Manager - Content Monetization and Editorial

Senior Product Manager – Content Monetization and Editorial
In your role as Senior Product Manager, you will support the Content Monetization and Editorial teams and our initiatives to help achieve our audience and business goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Product – Content Monetization, and working with key business stakeholders, you will:
Develop and manage the product roadmap based on sound understanding of the market, competition, and user needs.
Plan and launch new products and features, test performance and iterate as required to drive Postmedia’s strategic objectives.
Work collaboratively with Engineering, UX/Design and key stakeholders on cutting edge technologies.
Support in leading a variety of platform migrations.
Remain abreast on industry, audience needs, market drivers, and our competition within the digital media landscape to gain key insights and help us plan for tomorrow, working closely with and aligning with cross-functional initiatives.
Present MoM results & quarterly benchmarks to all impacted stakeholders and facilitate conversations between stakeholders to identify best practices, issues, and make performance improvements across the network and off network.
Manage the intake of new business opportunities.
Continue to innovate and optimize products by participating in the overall strategic roadmap planning in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualification & Skills:
University degree with bu siness and media discipline preferred
4-7 years in product and development management, digital media preferred. Experience in a digital news company an asset.
Experience in SEO optimizations – front-end and back-end
Experience in ecommerce implementations and executions
Experience in data feed builds and management (on and off platform)
Data-driven and results-oriented decision maker who strives to find solutions in collaboration with others
Thinks strategically and acts tactically to build & optimize the product roadmap to achieve business results
Effective communication & presentation skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiar with analytic tools and understanding for metric needs, including Google Analytics, and Google Console (page elements, code, JS, HTML)
Experience and preference operating in Agile processes
