Team Leader - Revenue Accounting

What's the role?:

The Revenue Accounting team, with employees located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, Chicago, United States, and Mumbai, India, is responsible for managing and administrating the revenue for EMEA- and APAC-based customers as well as global Cost of Sales.

We are now looking for a Team Lead - Revenue Accounting, who will manage a team of 3 accountants and be based in Krakow, Poland.

Main responsibilities of the Team Lead are:

• Lead and guide the Krakow-based team in work planning and prioritization
• Invest in the growth of your team members, offering guidance and fostering their professional and personal development
• Participate in daily activities like:
• Invoicing customers based on reports received
• Processing Sales contracts
• Peer reviewing of invoices created by colleagues
• Following up on questions from customers regarding invoicing
• Providing documentation customers need, e.g. filling in supplier forms
• Work with internal stakeholders and provide guidance on revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15
• Manage other tasks e.g. month end close tasks, internal/external audits
• Engage in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge
• Participate in special projects as needed

In this role you will report to the Revenue Accounting Manager who is based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

 To be successful in your role, the following characteristics are key:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Experience in accounting
• Excellent English writing and speaking skills
• Accurate and structured
• Team player
• Service-minded
• Strong communication/organization skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
• PeopleSoft experience is a plus in addition to strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience as a Team Lead is preferred
