Summary

Responsible for providing administrative support to the leave compliance team. Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local laws relevant to the job duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manages calendars, requiring interaction with both internal and external management and assistants to coordinate a variety of complex meetings.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing communications (phone, email, etc.) and responds to inquiries regarding scheduling and other administrative tasks.
  • Processes leave inquiries and other requests, including distributing requests to appropriate team members, conducting initial research, coordinating review, and gathering required information from different resources.
  • Facilitates completion of various tasks, including sending template e-mails, developing template presentations, populating other standard templates, and initial drafting of statement of work documents.
  • Assists with preparation of correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets, including proofreading for formatting, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Finalizes and sends weekly communication to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Updates and maintains leave compliance database using Salesforce.
  • Performs periodic audit of documents and databases and helps resolve deficiencies and organizes documents.
  • Interacts with both external and internal stakeholders to support leave compliance requests.
  • Assists with billing administration.
  • Performs administrative duties and periodically assists with special projects.
  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

One (1) or more years of related administrative or general office experience required

Experience and general knowledge of the benefits insurance industry is a plus

Skills

Excellent reading comprehension, and verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving, organization, and prioritization skills

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork

Ability to take initiative and work independently

Ability to design and implement process

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe PDF

Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus, but not required
