Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for a hands-on
Marketing Director to help bridge the gap between marketing and channel sales
for a fast-moving CBD / Cannabis company. This is a remote position and can be
based anywhere in the United States, however a preference is for this position
to be based in the Greater Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, area.

In addition
to helping the organization develop and execute a brand strategy, you will use
your existing smoke shop, convenience, or gas channel experience to develop
engaging multichannel sales programs supporting the go-to-market strategy,
increase brand awareness, and develop/strengthen our Client's relationship with
these key retail partners. You will get the
opportunity to help develop brand goals, and then create proactive marketing
campaigns that align with these brand goals, account-based marketing
strategies, and current industries trends. You will then develop a robust
reporting framework to analyze the performance of campaigns and provide
actional insights for improvements. You'll have the opportunity to improve
brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in
in-store planning, events, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual
marketing priorities.
The ideal candidate will have
a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a
related field, 3+ years of branding/marketing experience and at least 1+ years
of experience in a trade/channel/retail marketing role in a Cannabis, Hemp, or
Food & Beverage company. You're known for your experience working with
smoke shops, gas or convenience stores and have a strong understanding of the
retail marketing strategies and dynamics in these channels. You are known for your ability to influence
internal and external stakeholders using your exceptional communication skills,
along with your ability to build lasting relationships with customers. You'll
have the opportunity to utilize your expert level knowledge of the company's
brand to elevate the brand's profile. If you have proven success in driving
growth in CBD / Hemp companies through your strategic marketing initiatives,
then this could be the right role for you. This position will also require travel and you should have regular
access to a reliable vehicle / be close to a major airport, especially if you
live outside of the Raleigh / Durham, North Carolina, area.
Compensation: Starting at $80K
