About the Job
CDS Logistics & Home Services is seeking a dynamic professional to manage a growing regional territory of delivery service providers for our leading final mile logistics company. The Regional Network Manager position will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of final mile logistics agents within their Region and CDS employees, Territory Logistics Network Managers. Our primary goal is to ensure excellent operational standards are met and maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the region.
Regional Logistics Network Manager
In this role, you will work in the field as well as from home, managing Territory Logistics Network Managers in the oversight of daily operations of our business through our agent network. You can anticipate this role to focus on driving Network Agent performance to meet operational standards through strong results-based communication with agents and employees, employee development, and proactive performance monitoring for your territory and customer accounts within your territory. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Management oversight of assigned CDS network logistics providers within the region (approx. 20-25)
- Responsibility for managing the daily activities of field-based CDS territory network managers in the region
- Develop direct reports to work independently, with a full understanding of CDS and customer SOP's, and an ability to effect change within the CDS agent network
- Develop and foster relationships with key customer and CDS agent contacts to enhance local service and communication
- Assist with the communication and resolution of any service issue claims within the CDS Network
- Conduct training in all aspects of CDS customer programs and ensure adherence to HSLD policies
- Assist with any and all duties associated with the CDS Logistics Network Home Delivery Programs
- Travel frequently to support regional network management activities
- Ensure agents and field managers are conducting frequent developmental audits for all CDS locations to ensure continuous improvement
- Provide formal reports, as required, to CDS management on the state of the regional business operations
- Communicate and review agent performance to all locations based on customer metrics and feedback

- 5+ Years of experience in a leadership role in final mile logistics.
- Bachelor's degree or additional years of equivalent experience.
- Superior organizational skills
- Excellent communication – both oral and written - and interpersonal skills
- Strong Computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet search
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to get things done
- Ability to manage your schedule to ensure proper agent support across the region without direct supervision
- Ability to identify and develop creative processes or solutions
- Ability to manage company expenses to ensure field activities are value-add
- Openness to change
- Desire to develop into future management positions in Network Management, Sales, Operations and/or Business Development

- MS Excel Skills: VLookup function, IF function, filtering and creation of Pivot Tables
- 3PL 6+ Management Experience: operations, warehousing, dispatch, etc
- Data Analytic Skills
Work Environment
- Warehouse facilities, Loading Docks and Office Space
- Must be able to meet physical demands of auditing and training for warehouse activities, driver loading and unloading activities and office personnel activities.
