Accounting Manager

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in fast-paced accounting & finance environments and excellent client service skills.  This role requires a strategic thinker who can supplement the accounting team during high-volume periods.

As Accounting Manager, you will provide excellence by:

Client Accounting Services

• Oversee the delivery of accounting services to clients, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and payroll processing.
  

• Ensure client accounts are accurately maintained and in compliance with accounting standards.
  

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  

• Provide financial analysis and insights to clients to support strategic decision-making.
  

Client Communication

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing financial advice, and building strong client relationships.
  

• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and develop tailored solutions.
  

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  

• Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and ensure professional development opportunities for the team.
  

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in client accounting services.
  

• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  

Compliance

• Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance in all client engagements.
  

• Coordinate with clients and regulatory authorities during audits and reviews.
  

Technology Integration

• Evaluate and implement accounting software solutions to streamline client processes and enhance service delivery.
  

• Stay current with technological advancements in the accounting industry.
  

Expected Work Hours and Time Zone

This is an output-based role with a semi-flexible work schedule, with a preference for coverage during U.S. daytime hours.You are also expected to work on occasional weekends due to business needs.

Requirements

Do you have what it takes to be our Accounting Manager?

Consider yourself highly qualified if you:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an outsourcing or financial services company.
  

• Must have experience handling US clients
  

• In-depth knowledge of US accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  

• Experience with QuickBooks required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  

• Must live in the Philippines
  

• Must be willing to work on the Philippines night shift
