Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client uses artificial intelligence and IoT to get commercial buildings and factories to consume electricity in a smarter, more efficient and cheaper way while reducing carbon footprint. By anticipating changes in weather conditions, building occupancy and business activity thanks to AI, our solution continually adjusts heating-cooling-refrigeration equipment set points to run the process in a more efficient way and generate up to 40% savings. They have a team of 66 people worldwide with offices in Singapore, Spain & France (HQ) and is now expanding into new countries.

Your mission

Equipped with thermal engineering expertise and an appetite for innovation, you will be responsible for deploying intelligent algorithms to optimize the HVAC-R consumption in our client’s sites while respecting their technical and operational constraints. For that, you will need to:

Identify the pieces of equipment that can be controlled on each site, understand the way they work and their operational constraints (documentary analysis and site visit)
Identify the best optimization strategies to deploy,
With our automation experts, define the sensors and set points necessary for the deployment of these optimizations and carry out commissioning on customer sites,
Transmit your HVAC-R system expertise and knowledge of the installations to the rest of the team for each site (oral presentation, technical documentation, etc.),
Communicate with customers, subcontractors, refrigeration maintainers and facility managers to help them understand the company’s solution and get their feedback,
Study and detect anomalies on site equipment through data analysis,
Participate in the continuous improvement of the analysis tools

Requirements

Knowledge/Expertise:

Knowledge of HVAC equipment and control systems
Basic coding skills (at least one university class or equivalent)
Fluent English
Knowledge of commonly used building automation systems and communication protocols highly appreciated
