At Oracle Support Services we’re proud to build innovative products that meet the needs and wants of Oracle’s Support organization. To help us continue to innovate by leveraging Oracle Cloud products, we’re in search of an experienced product manager to join our multi-disciplinary Product Management team. As an ideal candidate, you will act as a central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of products as they move from concept distribution, ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget. You will also have a keen eye for gaps in our current solutions and the innovative mindset to fill them. You’re highly skilled with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production — from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader, team member and mentor who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products that will improve consumer experience and grow Oracle’s market share.

Objectives of this Role

  • Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company
  • Analyze Support needs, current capabilities, and potential solution from an ROI and build perspective
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successful achieved
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans

Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, and ROI
  • Analyze utilization data to develop strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications across Oracle Support
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams on the development, QA, and release of Support products to ensure success for the entire organization


Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in product design, engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the software product development lifecycle
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management
  • Previous experience delivering finely tuned product strategies
  • Exceptional English writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous software and web development experience
  • Proven experience working as a product developer or project manager in a non-managerial role
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in defining and deploying Enterprise level applications

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 - $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
