The local authority is looking for some additional support for 4 - 6 months to work with the Finance team and Heads of Service. You must have broad experience in District or Borough Councils and have experience in the Medium Term Financial Plan delivery. You can work remotely for this role, however the odd bit of flexibility would be welcome.
Your new role
You will work with Heads of Service and Budget holders to support them in their financial planning for their directorates. Supporting an organisational savings plan and creating the MTFS for 25/26.
Working closely with the S151 and Head of Financial Services to support the finance team and deliver on budgets for the next year.
What You'll Need To Succeed
You must have strong local government experience from District or Borough Councils, rather than County or Unitary. Ideally, you will have been instrumental in driving savings plans and creating the MTFS.
What You'll Get In Return
This is a remote working role for 4 - 6 months. Therefore, experience in the delivery of remote working contracts is crucial as the client is expecting a high level of engagement and achievement.
