About the role:

The Strategic Content Acquisition Team of Wiley is offering a Content Acquisition Assistant position, based in India. The Content Acquisition Assistant provides reporting, administrative and analytical support to the Strategic Content Acquisition Team (SCA) and a group of Content Acquisition Specialists and Content Acquisition Managers, contributing to the overall achievement of content growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be professional, motivated, and detail-orientated with excellent organization and communication skills and an interest in improving workflows and processes to drive forward business objectives.

How you will make an impact:

  • SCA database maintaining, reporting and analysis
    • SCA monthly/quarterly/annual performance report
    • Maintain data quality of SIMT and other relevant systems and communicate to team members about data requirements
    • Data analysis and report generation for various purposes
  • Support SCA team management and project management
    • Arrange team meeting, training, and maintain team channel sites under guidance
    • Manage team org chart and engagement activities
    • Support Project Leads to keep track of project timeline, update project status and upload project deliverables in project folders
  • Support team members in SI management and commissioning
    • Provide support to Content Acquisition Specialists/Managers to expedite commissioning and management process
    • Published SI performance analysis by subject/portfolio level
    • Follow up with the relevant internal teams on routine tasks
    • Monitor workflows and processes and suggest improvements wherever possible to increase team efficiency
What we are looking for :

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree, and must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Good data analysis skills, and proficient in advanced Excel are preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and desire to work within and support a busy team
  • Demonstrated effective organization skills and time management skills are essential, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Previous experience in a publishing or administrative position is preferred but not necessary
  • Aptitude for learning in-house company systems, and understanding of office procedures
  • A professional, mature and decisive approach
  • The ability to work under pressure with a strong customer support focus, and work both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skill within a global environment
