Product Owner Job Description As part of their role on a product team, a successful Product Owner should fulfill the following duties and responsibilities: ¿ Collaborating with prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements. ¿ Defining requirements where the product is a platform. ¿ Writing and owning user story definition and providing technical information for the development teams ¿ Technical expertise to communicate with the users of the product and the members of the development teams who build the products for the users of the platform. ¿ Understanding user needs, personas and explaining the grooming the requirement to development team ¿ Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development ¿ Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process ¿ Liaising with the product team, developers, and end users to deliver updates. ¿ Participating in Scrum meetings, PI Planning, sprint planning ¿ Communicate to close gaps between engineering teams and business. Ideal qualifications: ¿ Experience as a product owner for a complex system in an agile environment ¿ Expertise in owning user story definition, grooming and closing gaps between business and dev teams ¿ Technical background, ability to work with cross functional technical teams. ¿ Expertise in Agile methodology, JIRA, Confluence ¿ Experience of SAFe methodology ¿ Commitment to producing high quality work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. ¿ Experience in SaaS, Subscription management
