Your missions

As a Business Development Representative (BDR/SDR) you’ll support Sales Executives by setting appointments with key decision makers. You will be responsible for delivering new business opportunities to the organization through lead generation via various channels e.g. LinkedIn, emailing, calling, account target-based approach and data gathering/mining. In this position you’ll work closely with the Sales team (Sales Executives), Delivery Leads and Marketing to shape outbound campaigns to meet the revenue targets and goals set forth by management. 

 
Your responsibilities 
You will…. 

  • Primarily focus on a single vertical of IndX’s business, working to build your knowledge and expertise 

  • be responsible within your role for the EMEA territory 

  • be in charge of making the first contact to decision makers to gain initial interest in our services and to set up further appointments for our Sales Executives 

  • research, identify and establish lucrative target account contacts for our services through various channels like e.g. social media, emailing and calling  

  • partner with our Sales Executives to develop a strategic approach for meeting revenue targets 

  • partner with our Delivery Leads and Sales Executives to shape campaigns for specific topics based on business priorities 

  • partner with Marketing to leverage our company positioning for outbound lead engagement 

  • maintain strong knowledge of our service and product portfolio through a commitment to ongoing training and working closely with our different business units 

  • Leverage social media wherever possible for enabling your role 

Your assets 
 You’ll have… 

  • excellent communication skills with strong ability to gain commitment of time from prospects for appointments. 

  • ideally a network and/or experience in various industries e.g. automotive, CPG, pharma, luxury, food, etc) 

  • the ability to manage large account lists for multiple Sales Executives, selling multiple services, throughout multiple time zones 

  • the ability to grasp new markets/products and concepts quickly and efficiently 

  • strong time management skills with the ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks as needed 

  • the ability to motivate yourself and to work self-sufficiently, but also a great team spirit 

  • A desire to build your knowledge and expertise 

  • A ‘can do’ attitude 

  • 2+ years  of experience in the role of a SDR or comparable, with Siemens and/or SAP technology knowledge / experience (Track & Trace. Digital Manufacturing) to understand customers situation and needs  

  • Be comfortable using social media to engage with individuals and organizations 

  • Language skills on business level in English (required) and German (preferred)
