Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Remote)

Overview:

• Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a PL/SQL Developer specializing in Oracle Forms & Reports to work on a Contract-to-Hire position with our direct US Government client.
• This will be a 100% remote position.
• Must be a US Citizen and have Security+ certification.
• SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

• Perform design, coding and unit testing of content enhancements and maintenance.
• May work in one or several areas, such as equipment or software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis and modeling.
• Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
• Plan and schedules new applications systems projects with user, systems software, and computer center operations personnel, including the identification of objectives, time frames, costs, and manpower requirements.
• Perform tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques.
• Confirm design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
• Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.
• Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
• 5-7 years of Oracle related experience required.
• Active Security+ certification.
• Solid PL/SQL experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS 12c or higher.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports.
• Oracle APEX experience is a PLUS.
• Familiarity utilizing JavaScript programming language and HTML.
• Prior experience working with Agile Methodology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
