Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Creating responsive and user-friendly UI5 applications and integrating them with back-end ABAP logic.
• Configuring and customizing SAP Fiori apps to meet specific business needs.
• Performing system testing and debugging to ensure applications meet quality standards.
• Optimizing and enhancing existing SAP systems using ABAP enhancements and performance tuning techniques.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members and business users.
• Participating in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in SAP applications and interfaces.
• Collaborating with SAP functional consultants to implement end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives.
• Documenting technical specifications, test cases, and best practices for SAP development and customization.
• Keeping abreast of SAP advancements and best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
• Participating in knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team's technical capabilities.
• Understanding and following best practices for software development and adhering to organizational standards.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of SAP development processes and methodologies.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant with expertise in UI5 and Fiori development.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming and development tools such as ABAP Dictionary, ALV Reports, BAPIs, User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Proficiency in developing SAP UI5 applications using XML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience in customizing and extending standard SAP Fiori apps and developing new Fiori applications.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies like OData services, Gateway services, and SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions within the SAP environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools for version control and continuous integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules and business processes to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
• Certification in SAP ABAP and/or SAP Fiori development is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and convey technical concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
