Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Principal Solution Architect (SA) is the primary, customer-facing leader responsible for guiding the delivery team on CE/CRM engagements, ensuring customer success, and exceeding expectations. You will oversee every stage of the project delivery, from initiate and analysis to design and build, to deployment and go-live, aiming to secure project success and referenceable clients.

Technical Expertise

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT applications focused on D365 application capabilities, and CE technical/functional capabilities.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing IT solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Familiarity with integration techniques and technologies, including APIs and web services.
  • Strong grasp of data migrations, integrations techniques and technologies, including Azure Integration Services, APIs and web services.
  • Working knowledge of Power Platform, Office 365, and related technologies.

Project Management

  • Ability to manage and lead technical projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Architectural Knowledge

  • Experience in creating end-to-end technology roadmaps. Understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies. Experience in creating overall design blueprint document and detailed architectural artifacts.

Leadership And Team Management

  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Proven ability to organize and lead a virtual team of CE/CRM consultants across different locations (including offshore).
  • Experience leading teams using hybrid, agile methodologies.
  • Ability to lead and support internal teams and customers, including architects from other business applications (Finance and Operations, PowerBI, etc.).

Communication

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Confident in client-facing interactions, quickly establishing yourself as a trusted partner and subject matter expert.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues in IT systems.
  • Strong business analysis skills, capable of driving both functional and technical requirements gathering.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in a cross-functional team.

  • Ability to understand and align solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks to completion.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% depending on project complexity and customer expectations.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Current Dynamics 365 CE certifications.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Stay current on Dynamics 365 CE and related technologies, especially Azure stack of technologies.
  • Design and document the Security Model, Data Modeling (ERDs), Process Flow Diagrams, Architectural Diagrams, Data Migration and Integrations Designs and Planning.
  • Working experience with Configurations, Model Driven Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, JavaScript, Plugins, PCF Controls.
  • Environment Management, Overall Environment and Tenant settings, Resource and Capacity Planning, ALM Process design and deployment pipelines and source code/repos.
  • Azure resources planning and management, Azure subscriptions, resource groups, security groups. Good understanding to incorporate in designs Azure integration and data services; Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Fabric, Data Lakes, Service Bus, Synapse.
  • Mentor staff to ensure team growth in their career paths.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a constantly changing environment with limited direction.
  • Familiar with Agile implementation methodology.
  • Experience working with a multicultural/multilingual team across several time zones.
  • Proven technical architecture experience (5+ years) and CE/CRM experience (8+ years) with 15+ medium/large implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery team through all project stages (analyze, design, develop, test, deploy).
  • Provide overall direction for design, solution development, and project oversight.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project concerns and issues.
  • Author and review high-level and detailed architecture, Data Migration/Integration Planning, Security Model, Data Modeling (ERD), UAT & training plans, and other key documentation.
  • Develop and deliver an Issue Resolution Management plan.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, are innovative, user-friendly, and delight the customer.
  • Assist the Argano Project Manager with project planning, including timeline, scope, and resource assignment.
  • Collaborate with DSE and PM to deliver projects in accordance with the Customer Roadmap.
  • Prioritize the DevOps work item backlog in coordination with the customer, and oversees all DevOps work items to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure all project impediments are removed to facilitate day-to-day delivery team tasks.
