Position Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a D365 Field Service Principal Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our CE team, leading the functional aspects of field service projects. Your primary responsibilities will include driving analysis and design workshops, capturing requirements and user stories, and guiding the team in configuring CE based on these specifications. You will also assist in unit testing, training, and documentation, ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client-facing analysis sessions to document requirements.
  • Participate in design, estimation, and configuration activities.
  • Capture user stories in Azure DevOps and manage project backlog.
  • Configure the system based on user story requirements and design.
  • Support junior functional resources as needed.
  • Lead client-facing sprint demos.
  • Coordinate with Argano and client project team members.
  • Assist client SMEs in executing sprint and UAT activities.
  • Escalate issues to the Solution Architect for resolution.

Education

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant Associate (preferred)
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate (preferred)
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (preferred)

Experience

  • Proven project leadership experience and team-building skills.
  • Confident and effective in client-facing interactions.
  • Strong understanding of D365CE application capabilities, both technical and functional.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure, Office 365, Azure Data Factory, and related technologies.
  • Experience leading requirement and business process analysis sessions, documenting user stories, and managing requirement backlogs.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers and internal teams on requirements and configuration.
  • Proficient in user story estimation, pre-sales demos, and other sales support activities.
  • Advocate for standards, best practices, and delivery processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ownership and drive to complete tasks.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% based on project complexity and customer expectations.

Skill Requirements

  • Up to date with Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement and related technologies, particularly Power Platform and supporting technologies.
  • Current Dynamics 365 CE certifications focused on sales, customer service, and field service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile implementation methodologies, including Scrum.
  • Experience working with multicultural and/or multilingual teams across multiple time zones.
  • 4-6 years of CE/CRM experience and participation in 5-8 medium to enterprise-size CE/CRM implementations.
  • Deep functional knowledge of field service solutioning and proven experience as a Field Service Subject Matter Expert.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive field service solutions, leveraging best practices and industry standards.
  • Extensive experience in configuring, customizing, and deploying field service solutions in Dynamics 365.
  • Expertise in integrating field service solutions with other systems and platforms.
