Senior Consultant, PP/DS

Job Summary

Reporting into one of our Digital Supply Chain Leads, you will join a team that has been executing major transformation initiatives and critical projects for our clients. The Argano Digital Supply Chain practice helps organizations model and integrate their supply chains. We implement models for every step in the supply chain process, from a tactical Sales and Operations Planning process; or identifying the best aggregate supply and demand balance; to an executional Production Scheduling process.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Engagement or Project Manager to review the high-level plans developed during the sales process to build the detailed workplans and the inventory of required deliverables needed to deliver the required outcomes for our clients.
Leverage our LIFT delivery methodology and past project key learnings while building the required plan which uniquely fits the client situation.
Establish a strong working relationship with the client business leaders and project sponsors.
Work with Argano’s clients to lead the implementation of end-to-end planning and scheduling processes.
Be able to help clients understand how to integrate plans across different horizons.
Manage client blueprint and design sessions to create seamless solutions within a client’s SCM environment.
Lead Supply Chain and Decision Analysis to identify and size improvement opportunities in client’s supply chain planning and scheduling.
Lead / Guide Supply Chain Optimization/modeling to match requirements to specific functionality.
Utilize PPDS tools & concepts to develop solutions for clients.
Consult client on their effective usage of ERP systems (particularly SAP) and adjacent systems.
Be prepared to work across one or more projects (at one or more clients).
Actively participate in the development and refinement of our Digital Supply Chain methodologies, tools, and capabilities.
Lead/champion a specific set of Digital Supply Chain leading practice capabilities teaching & training the rest of our community of practice how to best deploy when needed.
Up to 50% required depending on the project.

Education

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:

Supply Chain Management or IT degree and/or 5 to 10 years of experience in supply chain planning or supply chain execution.

Experience

Well-versed in PPDS scenarios. 5+ years’ experience with PPDS with at least 3 full cycles PPDS implementations. Ideally some PP experience as well.
Expert knowledge of heuristic methods, PPDS optimization and PPDS Master Data
Deep experience of ECC/S4 planning master data: Materials, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Recipes, Production Versions, Setup Groups/Matrices, Capacity Profiles
Experience designing and delivering PPDS and CIF custom enhancements.
Experience/ Working knowledge of ABAP including ABAP Debugging.
Sound knowledge for CIF model creation and troubleshooting.
