Job Description

Role Summary:
As we progress into the crucial final phase of redeveloping our platform as a Blazor-based SPA, now extending beyond three years, we seek a Feature Delivery Team Lead to expedite the completion process. This role is pivotal not only in accelerating our development cycles but also in ensuring the successful and timely launch of our newly enhanced platform. The Team Lead will oversee the migration of critical features from the old platform and the integration of new functionalities, including multiple innovative AI features that will enhance user experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active Coding and Development to Increase Team Velocity: Directly engage in the coding, review, and troubleshooting, ensuring the delivery of clean, scalable, and efficient code.

  • Leadership: Lead a dynamic team comprising 5 full-stack engineers and a 4-person QA team. 

  • Mentoring: Mentor and support team members to foster a culture of high-quality and high-velocity software development practices, enhancing professional growth.

  • Project Management: Work with our Scrum Master to manage project timelines and priorities, aligning team efforts with the strategic goal of completing and launching the new platform for existing customer migration.

  • Problem Solving: Address design and development challenges, effectively removing roadblocks for the team.

  • Performance Metrics: Set and achieve KPIs and OKRs, producing concise bi-weekly reports to track progress.

  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments to enhance problem-solving capabilities and minimize development bottlenecks.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate and remove roadblocks with the help of our backend team, which includes a Senior Architect and two Sr. engineers, one of whom also serves as the Release Manager.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineering team lead with significant hands-on coding and project management experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of managing development teams, including QA personnel.

  • Proven expertise in front-end development, particularly with Blazor or similar frameworks. Proficiency in modern front-end technologies like JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and React is essential.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a robust portfolio of front-end projects.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, with a proven record of leading teams through significant migrations or transitions.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, adept at resolving conflicts and driving team success.
