🚗 Join Our Team as Bulk Materials Handling Engineer (Automotive BIW Sealing Systems) 🚗 5 years of experience

Are you an experienced engineer passionate about the automotive industry? Do you have a deep understanding of bulk materials handling, from the design office to field oversight and commissioning? We're looking for a dedicated professional to take on a pivotal role in our innovative team!

 

Position: Senior Bulk Materials Handling Engineer (Automotive BIW Sealing Systems)

Location: México- Home office with availability to travel occasionally to Toluca

Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: 5+ years in Automotive Industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical detail engineering for material application in BIW components.
  • Specify materials for pumping systems, including sealings, adhesives, sound deadeners, coatings, paints, and e-coat.
  • Oversee material release in CAD design tools (NX) and PLM systems (Teamcenter).
  • Support equipment specifications, installations, and process controls.
  • Manage product design verification plans, evaluations, and material validation in the lab.
  • Provide project management and field oversight for vehicle launching and pre-series prototypes.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bulk materials handling within the automotive industry, specifically with sealings, adhesives, sound deadeners, and coatings.
  • Proficiency in NX and Teamcenter software.
  • Strong expertise in material characteristics, analysis, and lab-testing.
  • Experience in product launching and project management.
  • Fluent spanish and english required (B2+ minimum)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
