Job description

Who We Are Looking For

The term “wing it” isn’t even in your vocabulary because you’ve always got a plan—and a schedule—for everything. You get a thrill out of scratching items off your list, and you have a vision for perfectly planned, well, everything. Here at WebPT, we need your skills to ensure all of our company events—including trade shows, conferences, and employee parties—go off without a hitch. As the Marketing Event Manager, you’ll oversee and lead the development of all company events, both internal and external, to drive engagement, leads, sales, and retention.

What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team

  • Develop and manage the WebPT regional events strategy including logistical and operational excellence, ensuring smooth execution and attainment to pipeline targets.
  • Manage venue selection, budget management, attendee logistics and onsite operations.
  • Lead our on-site events teams ensuring all parties are aligned and 'know where to go' and have all materials needed to impress our Members and prospects.
  • Collaborate with our growth, brand and product marketing teams to develop high converting event promotion and marketing, seamless sponsorship coordination, team communication and attendee engagement.
  • Assist cross functional teams in organizing team logistics and travel arrangements, inventory and assets; timelines and presentations.
  • Lead regular cross functional meetings to present event plans and help manage lead generation plans.
  • Maintain a high standard for events and embody the core values of the organization in meeting with customers and representing our brand.

What You Should Have To Qualify

  • At least five years of experience planning and/or managing events.
  • Degree in events management, marketing, business, or a related program.
  • Be a natural-born leader—one who advocates for the team, embraces every moment as a teaching (or learning) opportunity, and provides constructive coaching and meaningful challenges.
  • Be hungry for knowledge. There’s a lot to learn when it comes to event marketing—not to mention electronic medical records and the rehab therapy industry.
  • Be organized, ahead of schedule, communicative, and accountable.
  • Love logistics more than UPS. You get a thrill out of perfectly planned schedules, and you get giddy at the thought of building and managing spreadsheets. (And you’re good at it all to boot.)
  • Always strive to make peoples’ days better because relationships mean everything to you.
  • Know how to maximize a budget.
  • Remain focused under pressure.
  • Build customer relationships and brand recognition.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Impeccable communication skills and grammatical knowledge.
  • Be a strong and positive team player.
  • Relevant managerial or leadership experience.
  • General breadth of knowledge across the entire marketing spectrum.

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

  • Experience working in a B2B and/or SaaS environment
