The Role
Are you looking for a leadership position in sports journalism? Are you passionate about football and sports and do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment? Then you have come to the right place!
Stats Perform News is looking for a producer to lead the German-speaking news video editorial team. Native German and fluent English are basic requirements, experience as a manager in sports journalism is desirable.
This position is 100 percent remote.
As lead producer for the DACH region, you always keep an overview of the use of your own content on the customer platforms, create duty rosters and set the editorial direction in the daily news cycles.
Responsibilities
- Editorial quality control
- Strategic editorial planning and creation of duty rosters
- Coordination of external VJs and freelancers
- Compliance with budget limits
- Screening of customer platforms for integration of video content
- Conducting customer meetings
Required Qualifications
- Journalistic experience (also as editor-in-chief, department head or team lead)
- Native German speaker, fluent in English
- Great passion for football and sport
- Premiere Pro knowledge
- Precise and reliable way of working
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic role
- Leadership qualities, teamwork, speed of action, initiative
- Good O365 knowledge
