Your missions

What we’re looking for

Puzzle is redefining how companies navigate and leverage their financials. Our cutting-edge accounting software seamlessly integrates with modern fintech tools, offering founders and finance teams a real-time and comprehensive view of their financial landscape. We are on a mission to empower entrepreneurs with the insights and tools they need to make informed financial decisions and drive the success of their ventures.

In order to help us accomplish this, we are seeking an experienced Partnerships leader to drive Puzzle’s growth through strategic alliances and integrations.

As our Sr. Manager/Director of Partnerships, you'll drive the expansion of our ecosystem, enhance our product offerings, and boost our market presence. Your role will be key in developing and executing a smart partnership strategy, identifying and nurturing valuable alliances, and collaborating across teams to ensure smooth integrations. We're looking for someone with top-notch negotiation skills, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels. You'll be the go-to person for building relationships that take our business to the next level.

This is your opportunity to join a well-funded startup led by an accomplished fintech founder. Join us remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada as we embark on this exciting journey.

What you’ll do
  • Manage and develop a partnership strategy and a set of partner-level relationships with top venture capital funds, startup accelerator programs, and other external partners in the startup ecosystem

  • Develop strategies to drive adoption of Puzzle among thousands of startups and ensure companies have the resources they need to use our platform effectively

  • Identify and coordinate opportunities for multiple engagements and events for founders; execute in collaboration with Partner and Puzzle’s GTM team

  • Provide guidance to startups in 1:1 engagements, in partnership with Puzzle’s CPAs

  • Represent Puzzle at startup ecosystem events and speaking engagements

  • Analyze key metrics within startup portfolios, creating reports and providing insights to internal and external stakeholders

  • Serve as an advocate for improving the founder and VC experience when using Puzzle, synthesizing feedback from insights captured working in these communities

  • Contribute to the development of programs and strategic initiatives focused on startup customers

  • Stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to guide strategic partnership decisions

Qualifications
  • Founded a VC-backed company and/or have 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or operations, preferably in an early-stage environment

  • Demonstrated success at building partnerships and working relationships across the org including engineering and product teams, as well as with external partners

  • A problem-solving whiz with strong analytical aptitude; you use data to drive decisions and results

  • Able to write clear and concise communications for users and colleagues

  • Possess a process-oriented mindset and can lead people to get things done

  • Positive and optimistic attitude

  • Located in SF or NY is a plus!
