Job description

We're on the lookout for a diverse range of talents to join our consultant roster, which we'll use for both current and upcoming client projects. We're interested in individuals with skills in areas such as data analysis, business analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data governance, data management, etc.

As a Data & Analytics Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Providing analytical guidance and support at a programmatic level including mapping and documentation of business processes
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and maintain a deep understanding of core business platforms and processes and to identify and capture data and analytical requirements to set strategy for improvement and drive change with data
  • Performing analytical, design, testing, and managerial tasks associated with the implementation of information system solution
  • Participating in gathering and analysis of business and key users requirements
  • Working with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate those needs into report specifications
  • Documenting functional requirements, user interaction requirements, and non-functional requirements
  • Creating executive-level presentations and presenting complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Defining specifications to support software development, quality assurance, support and learning materials, and other downstream development support processes
  • Working independently to manage deliverables or key components of major projects — includes defining tasks, managing the work, and being accountable for the deliverable of assigned components
  • Evaluating processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing required updates/enhancements

Requirements

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience performing progressively more complex work in business analysis
  • Residency in Washington State or Texas
  • Robust data and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively manage analytic projects in all stages from inspiration and planning to insights and recommendations, as well as ongoing monitoring and evaluation
  • Extensive experience with Power BI, Excel, or other reporting platform
  • Ability to effectively present complex technical material to non-technical audiences in an approachable way
  • Understand and communicate business relevance to management/leadership teams
  • Demonstrated excellent written/oral communication skills, technical documentation skills, user liaison skills, and personal interaction abilities

You might also have:

  • Experience working as an FTE or contractor for Microsoft
  • Experience utilizing various SDLC methodologies like Waterfall, Agile (JIRA, etc.)

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.

The annual salary range for this role is: 90,000 - 130,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
