Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Back-End Engineer with a strong focus on integrations to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end systems that integrate with various third-party services and APIs, all built on top of a tech stack that includes React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and Azure. You will work closely with our front-end team to deliver seamless, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs to support integration with third-party platforms, leveraging our stack based on React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define integration requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize and improve the performance of existing back-end systems to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to integrations and back-end systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in back-end development and integration, particularly within the JavaScript and Azure ecosystems.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in back-end development, with a focus on integrations.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including Azure Functions, App Services, and other relevant Azure services.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with financial technologies (Fintech) or SaaS products.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (e.g., Azure Service Bus).
