Job Title: Inventory Planner

Location: Remote

Work Shift: PST

Working Hours: 40hrs/week (Full-time)

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our inventory, which is a vital aspect of our cannabis business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in inventory accounting, particularly with perishable products, and possess analytical skills to support our evolving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire inventory cycle, from product cultivation to distribution, ensuring accurate tracking and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant data and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product availability.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, demand patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, product turnover, and any anomalies that may impact business operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management.
  • Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and improve overall inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other relevant teams to align inventory practices with broader business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing inventory processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Planner or similar role, preferably in an agricultural industry.
  • Familiarity with handling perishable products and understanding the nuances of inventory management in the cannabis business.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
