Job Overview:

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to work closely with the President, Marketing Manager, and Community Director to grow and nurture our customer base through ongoing marketing campaigns using email & SMS flows, upsell/cross-selling, A/B testing, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Growth Marketing Manager will have a critical role within a small, entrepreneurial team to drive success and profitability.

• The Growth Marketing Manager will develop, plan, and lead new lifecycle marketing initiatives to achieve ambitious growth targets and overall profitability.

• Specific responsibilities include conversion optimization, email / SMS, paid media, landing pages, upsell/cross-sell, and A/B testing.

• Lead lifecycle marketing as a business owner by developing strategies to acquire and retain customers, and drive top-line revenue growth.

• Develop and execute growth marketing plans, including email / SMS flows, upsell/cross-sell strategies, insert swaps, other marketing channel opportunities, landing pages, and paid media campaigns.

• Utilize a test-and-learn approach to all growth initiatives including key performance indicators, goals, and measurable outcomes.

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive e-commerce conversion, average order value, retention, and return on ad spend.

• Provide input to the product development process based on learnings from lifecycle marketing.

• Understand consumer behavior and drivers by measuring key lifecycle metrics (e.g., average order value, clickthrough rates, conversion rates, cost per metrics).

• Have a strong understanding of the competitive DTC landscape and be acutely aware of new techniques, identify best practices among the competition, and anticipate market shifts.

• Prepare marketing performance reports and present with confidence to executive management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in an industry marketing position, ideally in DTC ecommerce
  • Data-driven, technically competent detail-oriented, creative problem solver with a track record in performance marketing
  • Experience with managing and optimizing online marketing tactics and CRM with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate high ROI
  • Proficient in Klaviyo (or similar)
  • Familiarity in Photoshop and Canva a plus
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Outgoing and sociable
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
  • Detail oriented – organized – self-motivated
  • Must enjoy the outdoors! Familiarity with lifestyle, outdoor, and outdoor lifestyle brands is a huge plus.
