Our client specializes in helping businesses assess and improve the accessibility of their buildings for people with disabilities.

About This Role

We are looking for talented full-stack TypeScript engineers to help us ramp up our development efforts as we expand. You will be joining a small but dynamic team, currently consisting of two engineers, with significant growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for our existing applications based on Firebase, TypeScript, Angular, and React.
• Design and implement an entirely new application to support master data management for our current system.
• Refactor and improve existing applications to enhance performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to your work.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a full-stack engineer (3+ years) with a strong focus on TypeScript.
• Experience with backend development, using Google Firebase and other databases.
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as Angular and React (preferred).
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
• Good level of spoken and written English (you will be working in an international team)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with master data management systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices (preferred).
• Experience in refactoring and improving legacy codebases (preferred)
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.(preferred)
